Slow-Baked Salmon

Slow baking salmon leaves the fillets incredibly moist and tender. Drizzle an herbed chimichurri over this and you've got a beautiful bright dish.

What you'll need:

  • 3lbs Salmon
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Fresh Dill
  • Fresh thyme
  • Fresh Chives
  • 1 tbs Butter

Put a pot of hot water on the stove top and heat the water up to a boil. Use a pot that will fit easily in the oven with the baking sheet. Preheat oven to 275°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Brush with 1/2 tablespoon oil. Place salmon fillet(s), skin side down, on prepared baking sheet.

season with salt and pepper to taste. Place fresh herbs and lemon under and on the fillet. Bake salmon until just opaque in center, 15-18 minutes. Serve with wedges.
