DIY Natural Cleaning Products

The first product is an all-purpose spray. A lot of us like lemon in our water or use lemon to cook with so this is a great way to cut down on waste. Save the lemon skin for an all-purpose spray. Soak them in a mason jar with vinegar for a week, strain all the skin, pulp and bits out and then add to water.

I use this all over the house. It's not great to use this regularly on a granite or marble counter, but I do use if Iā€™m doing a deep clean.

All-Purpose Spray

  • 1 part white vinegar

  • 4 parts water

  • Lemon peels

Next is the drain detox. I use this when my water is taking a little bit longer to clear. When I had hair my drain was constantly clogged. This is a great non-toxic way to get it moving again.

Its super simple just sprinkle baking soda down your drain, you're going to want to take the cap off the drain if you can. Then pour in the vinegar, it will bubble up. Let that sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with hot water.

Some other things that I like to keep in my house include unscented laundry detergent, add your own essential oil for scent and castile soap for everything including laundry, dishes, and general cleaning.
